Courtesy Call on St. Francis Convent Secondary School

The new Executive Committee paid a courtesy call on the Principal and Staff of the Secondary School on 10th October 2003. The Principal, Puan Winnie Voo-Kual said that she has actually received her letter of transfer to the Education Department. There was no information on her replacement. Be that as it may, she said that the work to raise funds for the new Secondary School must continue. The Secondary School building is completely built up and is very cramped for the students. She informed that some 7,500 students have passed through the gates of St. Francis Secondary School since it began. This represents at least the number of potential exfranciscans “out there” to reach out to. The Ex-Co expressed concern as there appears to be no replacement yet for Puan Winnie as Principal of the School.

Nevertheless, President Phelomina thanked Puan Winnie for all her hard work since the commencement of the secondary school project and hopes that Puan Winnie would be able to continue giving her support to the project even after she leaves the school. On EFA’s part, they will do their best to reach out to as many exfranciscans as possible.
