After a nice tea at the Promenade Hotel on the 13th September 2003, the 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held at 2pm at the hotel's Mawar Room. The 5th AGM was graced with the presence of Mother Cecelia, Past Presidents, Datuk Ariah Tengku Ahmad, Mrs. Rita Chin, Mrs. Rosie Wong as well as many senior ex-Franciscans such as Puan Usha Jayaram, Ms. Tan Wan Cher and Ms. Tan Kim Hua. A total of 33 ex-Franciscans gathered to hear the report of the Executive Committee for 2001/2003 led by President Maureen Lind.

The President's report was highlighted by a Charity Golf held in November 2002 and a Joint La Salle and EFA fellowship dinner in May 2003 in aid of the Secondary School Building Fund. A total sum of RM45,161.00 was raised and donated to the school building fund.

The President's report was followed by the Treasurer's report showing a net surplus for the year. Upon the adoption of the President's and Treasurer's report, Ex-Franciscan Alice Imelda Chin was unanimously called upon to declare the dissolution of EFA's Executive Committee 2001/2003 and preside as Returning Officer for the election of the new Executive Committee 2003/2005.

In-coming President Phelomina Engsun thanked all members especially the senior ex-Franciscans who attended the AGM and said that the new Committee hoped to continue the good work started by them. Activities will be planned and it is hoped that more ex-Franciscans especially the young ones will join in and participate in the Association activities.
