CHRISTMAS PARTY
What fun the kids had at the Christmas Party on Sunday, 21st December 2003! 175 members with their friends, children and grandchildren gathered at the right wing of the Sacred Heart Multi-Purpose Hall from 2pm onwards which proved to be a great venue as it was easily accessible from the ample parking area. With the steady rainfall all afternoon, the covered car-parks were more than appreciated.

The children had no trouble making friends and playing with each other. They were further entertained by Mr. Plump and Mr. Banana, two clowns from Magical EFX Networks who blew balloons and twisted them into their favourite shapes. After that, the magic show gave some kids the chance to show their magical skills by participating as volunteers. The kids were completely entranced as they sat in their seats just watching the show. But when Bugs Bunny showed up with his friends and they went wild! They jumped from their seats and rushed around the bigger than life-size Bugs Bunny and dragged them all to the front. They played games and lots of prizes were given out. When Santa and Santa Rina showed up, it was safe to say that no kid was disappointed. Most left tired and happy with two presents in their hands.

It was not only the children who enjoyed a great fellowship, the members also had themselves a wonderful time. Among them present were Mother Cecelia andDatuk Ariah

Most members brought their children. Others like Maimunah Khalid and Bernadette Funk brought their grandchildren. It was exciting for members to see how many children their friends were having and how quickly the young have grown.

The Ex-Co is very grateful to the donors who made the party warmer. There was tea, coffee, cakes and cookies all donated by members. The Ex-Co would like to give special thanks to Philip and Elizabeth Palencia for being Santa Claus and Santa Rina.
